Privacy Policy

Gango is not yet incorporated. Until it is, the two founders, Adrian Siegwart and Patrik Schilter, are jointly responsible for the data described here. For anything about this policy or your data, email us at hello@gango.ai.

• Your signup answers: your name, email address, country, and a few questions about your work and which admin tasks you'd like help with.
• Referral code: if you arrive through a referral link, the code that identifies who referred you, so we can credit them.
• How you found us: campaign tags on the link you clicked (UTM), the referring website, and the page you landed on, stored with your signup so we know which channels work.
• Basic technical data: your approximate country, derived from your IP address, so we can show prices in a sensible currency, plus standard server logs needed to run the site securely.

We use this data to:

• Add you to the waitlist and confirm your email (double opt-in).
• Email you about early access and launch, and credit any referrals.
• Understand who is interested so we can shape the product before launch.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form and confirm your email. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by emailing us, which removes you from the waitlist.

We use a small number of providers to run the waitlist. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

• Resend delivers our emails and stores the waitlist contact list.
• Supabase stores your signup answers in our database.
• Vercel hosts the site and processes the requests behind it.
• Google Analytics measures site usage in aggregate (see Analytics & cookies below).
• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling) to help us improve the signup flow.

Each provider only receives the data it needs to do its job. Where a provider stores data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

We keep your waitlist data until launch, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe or close the waitlist, we remove your data from Resend and Supabase.

Under the GDPR and the Swiss FADP, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you, and correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe at any time, using the link in any of our emails.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the authority where you live.

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used and which channels signups come from. If you visit from the EU/EEA, they only run after you allow them in the cookie banner (legal basis: consent). In Switzerland, where the law permits analytics with a right to object, they are on by default (legal basis: legitimate interest). You can change this at any time here — the choice applies to this browser:

Beyond that, the site uses your browser's local storage only to remember a referral code, how you found us, who just signed up, and your analytics choice.

We may update this notice as the waitlist evolves. A separate, fuller privacy policy will apply once the Gango product launches.
