For: solo freelancers and creatives (design, development, writing, consulting), mainly in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, with a handful to ~15 clients, billing by project or by the hour — the people for whom timers never stick and invoicing keeps slipping to the weekend.
Not for: teams and agencies that need manager-facing reports and seat management; e-commerce businesses; anyone who needs full double-entry accounting or payroll. For those, classic tools (Toggl/Harvest for teams, bexio/Papierkram for accounting) are the better recommendation.

Common questions and objections
- Does Gango hold or move my money?
- Never. Every invoice goes out with regular bank-transfer details (SEPA in the EU, QR payment part in Switzerland). Clients pay you directly; nothing changes on their side.
- Will Gango contact my clients without approval?
- No. Gango drafts the invoice or the follow-up and waits for your approval. Anything with money on it reaches a client only after you say go.
- Is my data or voice used to train AI?
- No. Data is never sold and never used to train third-party models. Voice notes exist for exactly one purpose — to become time entries — and can be deleted anytime.
- Where is data stored? GDPR?
- Encrypted on servers in Switzerland, backed up several times a day. Gango operates under the Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR; everything can be exported (CSV, PDF) or deleted on request.
